Who Me?

So who the heck do I think I am? Well, I’m a free-spirited gypsy who loves journalism and the decorated apparel industry. I heart T-shirts and Stevie Nicks. I earned a journalism degree with a magazine concentration and a minor in French from Texas State University in 1988. That year, I saw an ad for an assistant editor position for a trade magazine called Impressions and the rest is history. Thirty-three years later and I just finished the ride of my life as an award-winning editor for the Impressions Media Group and content developer for the award-winning Impressions Expo (formerly Imprinted Sportswear Shows — ISS) conference program.

Over the years, I’ve met thousands of apparel decorators and hundreds of manufacturers/suppliers, most of whom I call friends to this day. My industry experience affords me the luxury of knowing what I’m writing about and that’s where I can help you get your message across to those who matter. And I also have the contacts you need to reach. Personally, I have a pretty cool life. I live in a log cabin in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Georgia where I get to live in paradise every day. I have three adult children who live in Texas and one very special, world’s most beautiful granddaughter. Of course she is. So I’m a driven, ambitious, knowledgeable, experienced, humble-but-I- know-what-I’m-doing soul who is ready to help you. And that……is me.
